After more than forty years at the renowned Studio Prism in Lausanne, Switzerland, we are pleased to offer for sale this Bösendorfer Imperial 290, manufactured in 1978 in Vienna, Austria – one of the most prestigious and iconic concert grand pianos ever built.
More than just an instrument, this piano is part of the history of a professional recording studio that welcomed internationally renowned artists over the decades, including David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Catherine Lara, and many others.
For more than 40 years, this Bösendorfer remained in the same location, in a stable professional environment. It was carefully maintained and regularly tuned whenever necessary to ensure its continued use in the studio.
